A 17-year-old has been charged following a traffic stop.
That’s according to Upper Ottawa Valley OPP, who says the vehicle was stopped in Pembroke early last week. Police say that they had stopped the vehicle on Pembroke Street East and discovered that a passenger in the vehicle was in possession of drugs and a replica firearm.
As a result, a 17-year-old Petawawa youth is facing multiple charges including possession of an imitation firearm for a dangerous purpose and possession of cocaine. He’s scheduled to appear in a Pembroke court in mid-March.
