Killaloe OPP is reminding drivers to be ready for winter conditions on the road.
This comes after a number of collisions in the area over the holidays, many of which were caused by poor driving conditions. None of them resulted in serious injuries.
Constable Catherine Yarmel says it’s important for drivers to slow down when road conditions are not at their best.
Yarmel says it’s also crucial that you can see and be seen.
Yarmel encourages you to consider cancelling trips if the weather is going to be very poor. She says you can check current road conditions on the 511 website.
