The Madawaska Valley Township is looking at options to help assist the Madawaska Valley Fitness Centre.
While the township will request an extension on their Ontario Trillium Foundation Funding, there may be some additional funding as well for the Fitness Centre.
That’s because earlier in the month, the township decided against year-round swim programs, which would have OTF funding. The township will continue with their summer programming.
However, the township is going to explore redirecting funds from the proposed year-round swim program to the Madawaska Valley Fitness Centre.
