Focus on Eliminating Distracted Driving and Wildlife Collisions Continues

The Killaloe OPP is asking you to stay off your phone while behind the wheel.

As spring approaches there has been more wildlife reported on our roads in eastern Ontario.

Constable Catharine Yarmel says officers are continuing to target distracted driving, the number one cause of serious injury or death on Ontario roads.

Wildlife continue to represent more than half of the collisions local police respond to.

Yarmel says that risk is higher when distracted driving is involved.
