Human Remains Identified as Man Missing for 8 Years

A Killaloe resident that had been missing for 8 years has been identified.

On November 5th, 2018, OPP responded to a report of human remains around Ruby Road in Killaloe-Hagarty-Richards Township. The remains, discovered by hunters, were then sent to the Office of the Chief Coroner for analysis. Police can now confirm the remains are those of Robert John Thompson, who was reported missing on May 9th, 2013

Police have deemed the incident as non-suspicious
