Canadian Armed Forces and OPP doing training exercises in Bancroft area

You may see more Canadian Armed Forces and OPP vehicles in the Bancroft area and as far as Eastern Haliburton County for the next few days.

The OPP’s Tactical Rescue Unit, Canine Unit, and other police services will be conducting joint training exercises with the Canadian Armed Forces between July 15th and the 18th.

In a statement to the MyBarrysBayNow.com newsroom, the Bancroft OPP says that residents should expect to see these exercises happening in town. They ask that everyone keeps their distance so as not to interfere with the training.
