Chicken Coups In Bonnechere Valley Still Being Worked On

Bonnechere Valley is continuing to work on a new law that would make it legal for residents to own a chicken or duck coup.
The current dilemma facing council is that there are some breeds of ducks that are not suitable for coups.
The aim will be to make sure the rules will be the least restrictive possible.
Council will need to send out a notice and have an appeal process once they have a workable bylaw.
It could be several months before the new law is in place.
