A delegation from the area will be meeting with the Ontario Minister of Transportation this week to discuss the completion of Highway 17 through Renfrew County.
Meeting with Minister Steven DeLuca will be Renfrew County Warden Peter Emon, McNab-Braeside Mayor Tom Peckett, and Admaston Bromley Mayor Michael Donohue.
They will be explaining the importance of twinning the highway and discussing a multi-year program to complete the work through the Valley.
They hope to get a commitment that the next phase of the process to Renfrew will become a priority for the province’s five-year plan.
