Upper Ottawa OPP Seize Drugs From Pembroke Home

Upper Ottawa OPP has seized a variety of illegal drugs from a home in Pembroke.

OPP East Region Emergency response team assisted with a warrant executed last week at a home on Cecil street. Officers seized over 100 suspected methamphetamine and oxycodone pills, some 200 suspected percocet pills, fentanyl patches and other items associated with illegal drugs. They also recovered stolen property like video games, power tools, and a bicycle.

A 39 year old man and a 31 year old woman of Pembroke have been charged with multiple counts of possession of property obtained by crime under 5000 dollars and three counts of possession of schedule 1 for the purpose of trafficking. Both accused have been released on bail and are scheduled to appear and the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke at a later date
