The OPP has thanked the public for feedback following a request for their help in July.

On July 26th, OPP revealed a 3D facial reconstruction of a man whose remains were found in Algonquin Park in 1980.

Since then, the content on the OPP’s social media has been viewed over 75,000 times.

Police say they have received 36 fresh tips from the public since they released the images, and the Missing Persons and Unidentified Bodies branch will be following up on all information.

However, police are still asking anyone with information to come forward.
