An Ajax woman is facing assault and theft charges after an incident in Wollaston Township.
Bancroft OPP says, early on the afternoon of July 3rd, officers responded to reports of an unwanted person. When they arrived, an intoxicated woman was found with a weapon she had been court-ordered not to carry. Police say witnesses also reported an assault and theft as well.
The 28-year-old now faces charges of assault, theft under $5,000, disobeying a court order, and unlawfully being in a house.
