Friends of Algonquin Park Looking for Volunteers

The non-profit organization Friends of Algonquin Park is putting out the call for summer and fall volunteers starting next month.

The group runs the Algonquin Logging museum, one of the most prominent forestry heritage sites in eastern Canada.

It says aside from working in the museum or filling general volunteer roles, you would also serve as an ambassador for the park.

Some knowledge of the park along with Ontario’s natural and cultural history are plusses if you’re thinking of joining up.
