The Madawaska Valley’s Operations Department is returning to regular spring duties as it continues to assess and repair roads damaged by flooding.
That includes pothole patching and brushing priority roadways.
Operations Supervisor Mike Phillips says Upper Rosenthal in Palmer Rapids is a priority project for repair.
Phillips is asking you to slow down if you do come across active crews working to repair washouts or in brushing operations.
The township reported over a dozen washouts in a less-than 20 day span last month, some of which are still currently under repair.
