Rainfall warning in effect in Barry’s Bay

A rainfall warning has been issued for Barry’s Bay.

Environment Canada has issued the warning for Killaloe, Barry’s Bay, Petawawa, Pembroke, Cobden, Renfrew, Arnprior and Calabogie.

We’re expecting about 40 to 50 millimetres of rain starting tonight into tomorrow night.

The warning has been issued because the ground will have little ability to absorb all the rainfall.

Environment Canada says localized flooding is a possibility, and is advising you to stay clear of washout near rivers, creeks, and culverts.
