LGBTQ community recognize Pride Month

Members of the LGBTQ community in North Hastings have been celebrating June as Pride Month.

Joey Shulman, a member of Maynooth’s gay community, says many youth still struggle with their sexuality.

Shulman says, despite that, change is happening.

Shulman says, in the future, access to supportive communities will become more available to members of the LGBTQ community, to remind them they are not alone.
