Preliminary Hearings for Zachary Wittke This Summer

Preliminary hearing dates have been set to determine whether or not there is enough evidence to bring Zachary Wittke to trial.

Wittke is facing multiple charges including flight while pursued by police, theft of a motor vehicle and first-degree murder following a collision that took the life of 65-year-old Sheila Welsh.

Police say Wittke had stolen a vehicle and fled from the scene of one collision before his fatal collision with Welsh.

Preliminary hearings will be held on June 7^th and 8^th, as well as July 17^th and 23^rd. The Special Investigations Unit is also investigating the situation.
