Excavator Damaged Near Highway 17: Police Looking For Suspect

Renfrew OPP are asking for the public’s help after an excavator was damaged on Highway 17.

Police say the machine was on a job site near McFarland Road in Whitewater Region, and nearly $10,000 of damage was done.

The machine is owned by H&H Construction in Petawawa, and damaged includes panel doors being removed, wires cut and the alternator being taken out.

Police say there is a suspect being search for, and are asking anyone with assistance to contact either them or Pembroke Renfrew County Crime Stoppers.
