Special Weather Statement Issued Calling for Heavy Rain

Environment Canada has issued another special weather statement calling for heavy rain in the region.

The forecast is calling for 20 to 30 millimetres of rain beginning tonight and carrying over into tomorrow.

Environment Canada says if the rain continues into Friday and exceeds 50 millimetres the statement may be upgraded to a warning.

Areas on the warning include Killaloe, Barry’s Bay, Petawawa, Pembroke, Cobden, Renfrew, Arnprior and Calabogie.
