Flu season peaks, and Hastings County health unit wants you to get the shot

Flu outbreaks have peaked in Hastings and Prince Edward counties.

Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health says this year’s flu shot is a very good match to the virus, and that it is still being offered in the area.

You are being asked to help prevent spreading the flu by staying home if you’re sick, washing your hands frequently, and covering your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze.
