Province Investing $16 million into Ministry of Child Youth Services Facilities

Improvements to childcare facilities are coming to eastern Ontario from an investment of $16 million by the province.

That investment includes improvements to the Renfrew County facility.

A new front door for increased accessibility, a new retaining wall and a third-floor complete renovation are all slated for the funding.

The ministry says the improvements are going to infrastructure, new renovations and increasing accessibility to all of its 550 facilities.

Other locations near Algonquin and the Ottawa Valley are also listed in the ministry’s report.
