Barrys Bay library hosts workshops for pre-teens struggling with self confidence and social issues

Madawaska Valley library is hosting workshops for preteens who may be experiencing difficulties with self confidence, or have peer or social issues.

The workshops are happening every Saturday from April 6th until May 4th. 

Led by a retired children’s social worker, the sessions are aimed to help youth feel their best.  

Each workshop will include a healthy snack and kids will take home a personalized item made by them.  

All 5 workshops do not need to be signed up for, however, people are asked to register for the workshops they’d like to attend. More details can be found on the Madawaska Valley library website.
