A special milestone is coming up for the Killaloe Seniors Friendship Club.
The club is celebrating its 50th anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 16.
Activities will take place at the club, at 12 Lake St., starting at 9:30 a.m. They continue up to “Happy Hour” at 4 p.m., when a meal will be served.
The club, for people ages 50 and over, boasts more than 100 members. Club officials say the longevity is a testament to the work of its board of directors and the members themselves.
