Jackpot growing in Catch the Ace lottery 

Tracy Cannon of Whitney is the Week 27 winner of St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s Catch the Ace Lottery. She won $1,540, which she says she’ll split with three others who helped purchase the ticket.  

But when she flipped over a card, the ace of spades did not turn up so they did not win the jackpot. 

Catch the Ace will continue until the ace of spades is found. The jackpot is now above $47,000.  

Tickets for $5 are being sold at several Madawaska Valley stores. Each week a portion goes to a weekly prize, and another portion goes to the jackpot. Another portion goes to support health care needs in the community.
