Tourism Conference coming to Brudenell, Lyndoch & Raglan

Those with an interest in the tourism industry, take note. The Ottawa Valley Tourism Conference takes place on Tuesday, April 25.

It’s at Maplehaus Rustic Banquet Hall in the Township of Brudenell, Lyndoch & Raglan.

The Ottawa Valley Tourist Association is hosting the event, which will allow people in the business to network.

They’ll also have a chance to hear about a new culinary tourism strategy for the Valley and receive updates from the Ontario Highlands Tourism Organization.

Also, during the day, a new board of directors will be elected and there will be a keynote speech from author Altaf Sovani.

He’ll speak about how a labour shortage is affecting the tourism industry and share tips on how to recruit, retain and motivate millennial workers.
