An outgoing member of St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s board of directors says she’s proud of the work she and her team have done in recent years and is recommending other champions of the community apply for the position.
Lynn Beauchamp is stepping down for the board and a recruitment process for her replacement has begun.
Beauchamp (pictured above on the far in right, back row), a manager at Northern Credit Union, said the position gave her an opportunity to understand her community more. Serving on a board, she said, is a great career step for someone looking to gain experience in team-building.
“I think there’s room for everybody,” she says. “We need all types of people and all types of interesting skill sets. We’re always looking for people who are interested in supporting the Foundation, want to work in a team environment and bring strong communication and relationship-building (skills).”
Beauchamp says she’s most proud of how the Foundation pivoted, at the onset of the pandemic, to continue its fundraising efforts for health care in virtual environments.
