Barry’s Bay visitor wins Catch Ace Week 21 prize

A Trenton man is the Week 21 winner in St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s Catch the Ace Lottery.

Doug Wilson won $1,289, after buying a ticket while visiting family in Barry’s Bay. But when he flipped over a card, the ace of spades was not found so the lottery continues. 

A jackpot will grow bigger each week until the ace is found. It’s now sitting above $31,000.

Five-dollar tickets are being sold at several Madawaska Valley stores, with proceeds benefiting health care.
