Catch Ace Week 8 winner announced, jackpot growing bigger

Andrew Shulist of Wino is the Week 8 winner in St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s Catch the Ace lottery. He won $858. But when he flipped over a card, the ace of spades did not turn up so the lottery continues. 

The Week 9 prize is estimated at $850 and the additional jackpot, if the ace of spades turns up, could be over $11,000. 

Five-dollar tickets for the lottery are being sold at several Madawaska Valley-area stores, with proceeds benefiting health care.
