For the second year in a row, a record number of homes have been sold in the region.
The Renfrew County Real Estate Board reports that with 2,287 homes sold in 2021, it has surpassed the record set in 2020 by around 5 percent. Home prices continue to increase as well, with the average price of a home jumping 31 percent. The average home price is currently $406,000.
The supply of homes continues to remain low in the County, with the number of active listings the lowest they have been in 15 years. Only 63 new listings were posted in December, with 115 active listings.
