As the more transmissible Omicron variant of COVID-19 continues to dominate new cases in the province, St. Francis Memorial Hospital is changing its visitor policy.
The hospital has announced that visitors are being turned away, in an effort to protect staff and patients from COVID-19. Only palliative and end-of-life care visitors aren’t being restricted further, and must follow previous visitor guidelines.
Visitors who aren’t being turned away need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, wear masks at all times, and maintain social distance. For a full list of guidelines, visit the hospital’s website.
