What was just an investigation into an accident became something much more serious for an Oshawa driver.
Killaloe OPP were investigating a single vehicle collision in Killaloe-Hagarty-Richards at around 3:30 PM on Sunday. At this time another vehicle drove through debris on the road at high speed. OPP says they conducted a traffic stop which led officers to use a Breathalyzer. Police say the roadside screening device registered a warning for the amount of alcohol in the driver’s system.
As a result, the 27 year old from Oshawa was issued a three day suspension of his licence. His vehicle was also towed.
