Renfrew County District School Board Reaches Tentative Agreement with Educational Support Personnel

The Renfrew County District School Board says they have reached a tentative agreement with Educational support personnel.

They say they have come to an agreement on local terms and conditions for the 2019 to 2022 collective agreement. Chair of the boar Susan Humphries says she wishes to thank the bargaining teams for their respective determination to develop an agreement. She says despite the challenges of negotiating virtually, she says both sides never wavered from their commitment to work collaborative in search of the common goal of supporting students. The ETFO Renfrew County Education Support Personnel Local President Colleen Machkin says they are pleased to reach the agreement with the board and says it is respectful of the needs of their members. She said their team would like to thank all members for their patience in what she calls a challenging year.
