The Madawaska Valley Food Bank has a new location
They say that they have moved to Eve’s Escape Spa on 8 Martin Street in Barry’s Bay. The Food Bank says that the change in location will not change their services, saying they will still be open on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month, from 9:30 till 11:30 am. Because of COVID-19, they will still be using their drive-through method to serve clients. They ask clients to line up their cars on the opposite side of Martin Street. They say that volunteers will direct you when you arrive.
The Bank says the owners of the old location on 19460 Opeongo Line have other plans for the building. They say that they will still be able to provide their full service to the 756, 758 and 637 phone areas. The Food Bank wishes to thank those who helped with the move, including Barry’s Bay Home Hardware, the MV Lions, and their many volunteers
