If you are a business that can’t get any federal relief funds, the County of Renfrew has your back.
The Renfrew County Community Futures Development Corporation is launching the Region Relief and Recovery Fund. The new fund will support businesses with a pool of $252 million in Southern Ontario. The CFDC will provide interest free loans to help businesses that have had revenues affected by COVID-19
The Corporation says that they will focus on assisting main street businesses, such as retail shops, restaurants, corner stores and strategically important businesses in the community. Loans can be up to $40,000. A link to criteria to apply can be found here.
The Renfrew County CFDC normally invests in small businesses to support economic development and growth. Last year they put $4.4 million into businesses in Renfrew County.
