For the first time since COVID the Wilno Heritage Society is hosting their Kashub day festival.

Councillor Mary Blank was recently at the Barry’s Bay Metro selling 50/50 tickets in support of the event, along with her cohort Nancy. She said everyone is excited for the return of the festival.

“The Wilno Heritage Society is celebrating Polish Kashub day on Saturday, at the park from 11 to 4.

Music, celebration, food, drink. Come out and enjoy the company of others,” said Blank.

“It’s been closed-off now for four or five years, and we’re looking forward to a great celebration. Lots of fun, tickets on a 50/50 draw. Come out and have a great time”
