South Algonquin Township Looking for Input on Sign Branding

South Algonquin Township is going for a new look to its signage.

The township says it is updating its branding style by developing a new visitor’s map and more consistent town signage. The push is funded by the Main Street Revitalisation fund that comes from the Association of Municipalities Ontario. The township says it working with Placemaking Design in Killaloe to consult with and create branding and signage plan.The township says it is important to use signage to stand out, no matter what the size of the community is. They say that a successful brand will reflect the culture and vibe of the area. The final signage plan will be presented at the end of March this year. The township says later down the road it wants to use the money to update their town website, install signage, and advertising for the township.

The plan is currently looking for public input. They say residents should receive a copy of their survey in the mail. One can also be picked up from the township office. The survey can also be found on the Township website.
