Driver on Highway 41 Facing Multiple Charges

A man wanted in connection to charges in Tyendinaga First Nation has been snagged by Killaloe OPP.
The suspect was located last Sunday around 7 PM going down Highway 41 in Bonnechere Valley Township. Officers attempted to pull the vehicle over but the driver continued until he was forced over.
The 44 year old from Tyendinaga First Nation was arrested and is now facing a slew of charges. These include flight from police, impaired operation and impaired over 80. He was also charged with Driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available and possession of over 30 grams in a public place. He was also hit with a driving under suspension charge and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
The accused was held for a bail hearing which took place Monday.
