If you have questions about some mail you got from the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation, you will have a chance to get them answered.
Madawaska Valley property owners will have received notices from MPAC if they had changes to their properties. These include ownership changes, additions, new buildings and reconsideration requests. For those with questions about their assessment will be answered at a Q&A on November 29th. The session will be held between 10 am and 3 pm on a first-come-first-serve basis. Questions can also be fielded to the township office before the 29th by calling them at 613-756-2747.
MPAC says that if you disagree with your assessment, the corporation will reasses your property free of charge.
