A search for a missing woman involving Upper Ottawa Valley OPP and Sûreté du Québec has ended in tradgedy.
Veronique Bourque, aged 17 of Fort Coulonge Quebec was last seen on Monday around 5 PM. She was believed to be going home to Fort Coulonge. Police say they had been searching between the two communities.
Police found the red Mazda-3 on Highway 148 with Bourque unconscious inside. She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead. Police believe the cause to be a single vehicle accident.
