$6751 Raised by Smile Cookie Week for St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation

The Smile Cookie Week goal has been broken.

Erin Gienow, Donor Relations Coordinator, says that the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation raised $6751 in fundraising, breaking the $5555 goal they set out for the week. Geinow said that the community spirit on fire. She said people displayed acts of kindness and shared selfies on social media. She said it was great to get the momentum going.

Geinow wanted to thank everyone who volunteered during the week, especially those who wore the cookie suit. She gave an extra shoutout to Jason and Olena Armstrong, the owners of Barry’s Bay Tim Hortons. All the donations are in support of local health care. The funds will be used to operate the Valley Manor, St. Francis Hospital, and hospice palliative care
