Killaloe OPP is once again reminding people that the ice on lakes and rivers may not be safe.
Even with the recent cold weather, they caution people to check ice thickness before walking or driving on ice.
They are reminding residents to check with local authorities for ice conditions.
If you are planning on going out on the ice, make sure to test the thickness by drilling.
The police are also warning to not let children play on or around the ice unsupervised.
