Give Blood with the OPP

The OPP want you to give blood with their Festive R.I.D.E (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) campaign.

The campaign will take place from November 23rd till January 2nd and Upper Ottawa Valley OPP’s constable Shawn Peever says their goal is to encourage drivers to be safe and to give blood.

The OPP are partnering with Canada Blood Services as officers will be handing out holiday cards to drivers that include messages of the value of giving blood.

Peever says, in recognition of the Festive R.I.D.E campaign, an Emergency Services Blood Donation will take place on Tuesday at Garrison Petawawa in the Dundonald Hall. The public is welcomed to join them and donate as well.
