In less than two weeks students across Renfrew County will head back to school, which means more school buses on the road.
The Renfrew County Joint Transportation Consortium oversees school bus services in the county, and General Manager Bob White says drivers are ready as ever to get started for the year.
White says there won’t be any major changes in school bus operations this year, as RCJTC had a very problem-free season in 2017-2018. He says every effort will be made to make sure any cancellations this year will be out to the public by as early as 6:00am.
White adds that RCJTC always keeps an eye out on the forecast days in advance to anticipate when bus cancellations may be needed.

The 2018-2019 school year starts on Tuesday, September 4th.
