Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Barry’s Bay and much of Renfrew County.

The weather agency says that 30 to 50 millilitres of rain could fall in addition to thunderstorms throughout the day today. Residents are warned that heavy downpour could cause flash flooding in low-lying areas, or washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
