The Canadian Cancer Society is looking for volunteers in and around Barry’s Bay.
Every April, the society runs its Daffodil Month Campaign across the country to raise money for the fight against cancer.
Leigh Costello, Community Fundraising Specialist with the Canadian Cancer Society in Renfrew, says volunteers are a huge part of what drives the fundraiser every year as the campaign is 100-percent volunteer run.
Costello says the society is also looking for someone who knows the area well and can oversee and recruit other volunteers in the role of a supervisor role in Madawaska Valley.
