Bonnechere Valley Mayor Jennifer Murphy Acclaimed

Jennifer Murphy will serve four more years as Bonnechere Valley Mayor.

This comes following the nomination deadline after Murphy was the only candidate to submit nomination papers to run for Mayor in the township.

Murphy has served as Bonnchere Valley Mayor since 2010 when she defeated Zig Mantha and Kip Smith, before winning the 2014 Mayoral race by getting nearly 70-percent more votes than Smith.

Also in Bonnechere Valley, Mervin Buckwald has been acclaimed as Ward 4 councillor.
