RCDSB Reminds You To Register Students For School If New To The Area

If you’re new to the area and have kids going to school this September, make sure they’re registered to do so.

That’s the message from Renfrew County District School Board, which says you can mail in registration forms to register your child for the upcoming school year.

Regardless of whether your student is in elementary school or secondary school, all new students will need to provide a proof of address, age, immunization records and school documents. If you’re new to Renfrew County, the school board suggests reaching out to the health unit to make sure all medical records are kept track of.

If your student is going into secondary school, a copy of their transcript will also be required upon registration.

The first day of school for the 2018-2019 school year is Tuesday, September 4th. To find the registration form for new students, click here.
