The Greenville Police Department says that 58-year-old Joseph Robertson and his wife, 58-year-old Anita Robertson as well as their daughter 24-year-old Laura Robertson were killed in the crash. Police say the three, from Niagara-On-The-Lake, were the only people on the plane.

The flight was scheduled to land in Charlottetown, PEI after leaving Pembroke around 9:00am, but crashed in Greenville, Maine after making an emergency call because of engine problems. A spokesperson from the town says the plane crashed in a field just before the runway of the municipal airport.
