A former Madawaska Valley Mayor is now running for municipal council.
David Shulist served as mayor for thee township from 2010 to 2014, and feels that would help him on council.
Shulist says as mayor he’d like to see the three communities in Madawaska Valley be more connected.
Also running for municipal council in Madawaska Valley is Ernie Peplinski, Carl Bromwich, Shelley Maika and Mark Willmer.
The municipal election is October 22nd.
