The Muskrat Lake Watershed Council and Algonquin College are teaming up to better the environment, and they want your help.

The three-year project will see students planting native plants on properties near shoreline of the watershed. Algonquin College Project Manager for Applied Research and Innovation Julie Sylvestre says this can help benefit your land.

Sylvestre also says this real-world experience will help the students.

The three-year-project is hoping to start by the fall and has an information session on March 28th at the Whitewater Region Municipal Office at 7:00pm.
