Finance Committee Reviews Current Spending to Slated Budget

A municipal spending review from the Township of Madawaska Valley’s finance committee is comparing its slated budget for this year to actual spending.

The recent flooding impacted the Operations department’s roads spending with more than 20 washouts reported through April and May.

Discussion also covered the way tenders work for the township, with committee asking department heads to consider additional factors such as overall value to the process.
